Lago Grande – Grignetto

The village of Grignetto is on the Lago Grande, opposite the Sanctuary of the Lakes, and it dates back to the end of the IX century. In its woods, you can see roe deer, wild boars, squirrels, hawks, herons, hares, and foxes. It is said that once on a night of fool moon, a wolf was seen howling, sitting on a rock, and also stories of distant howlings, but till now there are only few witnesses and not always convincing.
