Paludi dei Mareschi

Paludi dei Mareschi is a swamp territory and an anomalous landscape

for a place so near to the mountains. Here it is easy to see falcons flying over reeds, heron’s nests hidden at the top of trees, or meet roe deer and wild boars walking to the lake for a drink. Ducks and swans sometimes hide in the reeds on the banks of the Naviglia Channel, which crosses this area, between the old Nobel factory, Grignetto and the industrial area.
